Everything you need to Xperience Niagara
TDI DATE VERDICT: Early dates, family days out, friends day trips, bachelorette outings
I get messages and questions all the time from people who really wanna spend a day or weekend in our wine country, but have no clue where to go, and where everything is in relation to each other, restaurants, wineries, etc. It's not uncommon that we aren't super familiar with a town an hour+ away while living in the city, and I love helping people find places that suits them, but it's hard to give advice when you don't know exactly what they will like or what their planning process is going to be.
Which is why I now refer them to Xperience Niagara to do all of that for them. There seems to be nothing people like more than a painless planning experience that lets them choose and buy something without the hassle of making maps and decisions and weighing wineries against each other, especially when we have about 70+ in Niagara alone!
Xperience Niagara has already partnered with activities, breweries, and wineries in the region and offers a bunch of different things to do, so all you have to do is click, purchase, and show up.
The decisions are at a minimal and are super easy to compare because they've already chosen GREAT options for you:
If you want to get a sweat on this summer in wine country, they have partnered with Yogaventure so you can do yoga beside a winery to start off your day. This is super convenient because as soon as you're done releasing the toxins from your body through yoga, you can replenish them through wine ;)
Xperience Niagara has also partnered with the amazing bike wine tour company Vino Velo to offer a selection of bike routes that take you to 4 wineries or 3 breweries, and are all close by so you don't accidentally plan it yourself and end up having to bike for hours because you didn't know. Honestly thanking them because that's 100% something I would do.
Love the water?
If you're someone who wants to spend as much time by, on, or in the water as possible this summer (me) they have options for that too. People are always so shocked by this and have no clue that you can do so many water-related stuff in Niagara (other than the Falls).
I'm actually shocked at how great this price is to get whopped around on a super adrenaline-pumping jet boat. It's near an hour and you'll see amazing scenery from the water, while learning about the Niagara Gorge, Niagara Falls, and War of 1812. Oh, you'll also feel like white water rapids and get SOAKED by the waves (I mean there's dry seating too if you're into that).
You know when I said things were completely done for you through Xperience Niagara? How does this sound: 2 tickets to the Hornblower AND a NOTL Wine Tasting Passport for 2 that brings you to some of my favourite wineries including: Konzelmann, Hinterbrook, Rancourt, The Hare, Riverview, and Marynissen.
First, you'll sail on a 20-minute voyage to the Falls and get up close and personal with all the running water over there. ALSO you can ride the new Hornblower Niagara Funicular which is as fun as the name sounds.
Then, you get back on solid land and go to the above-mentioned wineries and have 3 samples EACH at all of them. Literally hit me up if you want to do with because I'll totally come and intrude on your time, it sounds amazing.
If you're feeling particularly active, you can bike AND paddleboard with this offer. Both are super relaxing and you get to visit a winery, brewery, and have lunch. Then you get to see if you can stand up on a paddleboard without falling into the water (I did, so you definitely can).
Selena, what if I JUST want to drink?
I promise not everything they offer involved physical activity. They have a passport program for the NOTL region, the Bench region, and for breweries in case you just want to get your drink on, on your own terms.
The planning is still at a minimum for you, as the wineries are already chosen and included (and I approve of them ALL). Buy these, show up, and get your alcohol. There really is nothing more simple in life than that.
